Why, it's been gone for years.

Why, there is no child.

Tell me about the waves.
Why, we'll never walk amongst them.

Tell me about your possessions.
Why, they mean nothing to you.

Tell me about love.
Why, our love is like a fuzzy image flickering black and white and indiscernible from our sadness, anger, grief, indifference, and pain.
